How to remove the restriction on simultaneous opening of more than 15 files or folders in Windows 10?

Just as browsers can open a whole group of links in separate tabs, Windows can open several similar objects, such as folders or files. However, if you try to simultaneously open more than 15 files or folders, you will find that   «View», «Edit» and «Print» options have disappeared from the menu.

This feature when working with groups of objects is not unique to Windows 10, this behavior system detects and earlier versions up to Windows Vista. The restriction on the simultaneous opening of groups of files and folders was made by developers to prevent accidental system hang if accessed files will be quite massive.

But what about those users who due to circumstances have to work with large groups of files? For example, you need to open just 50 objects. Now, there’s an easy way to remove this restriction. Regedit, open the Registry Editor and expand the left-hand column of the following thread:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Explorer

Create in Explorer subkey a new 32-bit DWORD value and name it MultipleInvokePromptMinimum. Then, click on it twice with the mouse and in the opened window set its value in the decimal system — number of selected objects in Explorer, which will be available to team, «Open», «Change» and «Print».
