As you know you can establish and develop your own settlements in Fallout, actually, as many as thirty settlements. In the settlements you can build structures, grow food, collect water and make trades. They can also be protected from the attacks of raiders and decorated on your choice.
We’ll talk in this guide about the last point but without all sorts of utensils, such as radio, TV, paintings and sofas. Today, we’ll tell you how to build an animated light display in Fallout 4!
How to make an animated display in Fallout 4
For starters, you need to decide what will be shown on your display. Just take a piece of the cell and make a sketch of the figure. As an example you can use Space Rytackle. Image field composed of 18 blocks in width and 8 blocks in height.
He decided to make an animation which consists of two frames. To do this, you must identify those parts of the figures that are constantly working and those that are switched.
What happens?
- Part that works constantly
- First frame
- Second frame
That part of the picture that is always on has its own source of power — 4 generators. Thereafter, the connection starts with the terminal that is associated with blocks that are always working.
Creating animations
First Frame
- Install a separate generator
- Connect Terminal
- Connect terminal to switch, which operates at intervals
- Connect switch to lighting units
- Connect lighting units that have to be in the first frame.
- Do the same for the second frame
Remember that there is also need for a separate power supply! There should be no connection to the first frame or permanently active blocks.
Go to both terminals, and set the interval On for 1 second and OFF for 1 second.
Then something tricky begins: it is not clear how to specify the terminal when it should turn on or turn off the lights and when frames should work alternately. Therefore it is necessary to do the following:
- Cut the cord to disconnect power from the generator
- Connect the power
- Check the animation sequence
- if don’t — try again
